Politics from a Christian Perspective

Liberals prize separation of church and state, so how can a liberal apply his or her faith to politics without crossing the line?  There is nothing wrong with using your faith to guide you in the voting booth or allowing it to direct you as write your representatives in the government.  The trouble comes when a country tries to mesh religion and politics into a single entity.  Not all Americans are Christians so why should Christian laws be pushed upon them? And if we did opt to become a theocracy with a state religion, then the government would have a long arm to reach into the church and restyle the faith as it sees fit.
